Adventures Columbus Metro Parks

Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park

It’s been far too long since I’ve added to the blog! Hoping to post more regularly starting today.

Since we are too far away to celebrate the Fourth of July with our family in Florida we decided to keep with our own little family tradition and spend the day in the great outdoors. We didn’t let a little rain keep us from exploring!

We spent the afternoon at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park and ventured down the Cobshell Trail with just the boys.

Cobshell Trail Battelle Darby Creek Metro ParkTucker loved the view from his daddy’s shoulders. And he especially loved shaking the trees to get his daddy all wet from the fresh rainfall.

We even managed to get a decent family photo. Good thing Kevin has some nice long arms!

Love watching these two play together.

Mikey loved exploring the trail and seeing the river.

He wants to be just like his Daddy 😍 Love how they are standing exactly the same.

More trail to explore

But first, let’s take a selfie

There’s nothing like seeing the great big world again through your child’s eyes It’s all fun and games until the baby falls in the river 😂

Lucky for us Tucker is a trooper and didn’t mind one bit.

I think Tuck wanted to stay a little longer. Trying to redirect his Daddy.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
